If you came along to see "Alice and the White Rabbit" in Woodside Gardens at Easter then this show is brought to you by the same team.
Follow Rudolph around the Gardens on a Christmas adventure packed with live music and songs, lots of laughter and interaction.
This 50 minute walk-about show, designed specially for pre-school and primary aged children and enjoyable for their whole family, is the perfect theatre show for children because they are outside and they can run around and join in - sing, dance and play games - rather than being made to sit still.
You will meet a host of fabulous Christmas characters; Rudolph, Donner, Blitzen, Vixen, the Christmas elves and maybe even a flock of birds, wizards, bees, and space women. All performed by our two fabulous West End actors (with some help from our young audience too).
We guarantee you a brilliant Christmas treat and would love to see you there.
There is the opportunity to add a Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer soft toy to your order as you check out. These are very sweet toys and will help to support the work of our theatre company so we are able to do more shows like this here in the New Forest, as well as being a momento of the show for your child.
The show will start at the pergola next to the open air gym and tennis courts.
The main car park is on Ridgeway Lane. There is a small amount of accessible parking available on Rookes Lane. The gardens are a ten minute walk from Lymington High Street.
Yes. The show takes place on level ground around the gardens - some grass, some hard-standing path. It is all accessible.
Yes. We will be selling hot chocolate, tea, coffee and mince pies. There is also the regular cafe nearby.
Yes. There are toilets situated at the top of the gardens between Rookes Lane and the children's playground including an accessible toilet. There are further toilets available in the cafe.
Wrap up warm! Wear wellies! Bring waterproofs! Think of this outing like going on a winter walk or to a Christmas market or lights event. It is a walk-about performance so you are on your feet throughout and keep moving so keep warm. It is an active show!
Yes! Whilst the show is created with children aged 0-11 in mind, there are plenty of jokes and songs , and with world-class performers the show should entertain and delight family members "from 1 to 92" as the song says!
My own two year old loves the show and we have babes in arms as well as toddlers of all sizes who come along too. There's a lot of freedom and music and movement which helps lot hold the attention of little people.
Yes. You can bring your dog as long as they are kept on a lead and are quiet and don't bark during the show. There will be a lot of children running around, noise and excitement - and so as long as your dog will remain calm during this (!) they are welcome to come along.
We will only cancel a performance if there is a weather warning which causes the park itself to be closed.
We ask that all children are supervised by their responsible adults throughout the event.
